  • Now offering coverage in New Mexico and Wyoming!

I have been photographing weddings since 1998 and I absolutely love it! I love the fun, romance, and adventure each wedding holds. Everyone is different so I always approach each wedding as something unique and individual. I look forward to meeting you and being part of such an important day in your lives!

I have lived and worked in North Carolina, Northern California, and most recently New Mexico. My newest adventure is Jackson, Wyoming, a place I have been in love with since my 20's living and working in Yellowstone. My 2015/16 season will offer coverage in both New Mexico and Wyoming. Coverage areas include Santa Fe, Taos, and Albuquerque in New Mexico and Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone Park in Wyoming. With the addition of my new staff photographer, Suzanna Finley, we will be able to offer coverage in both states all summer. Please contact me regarding pricing and package options.

Leah and Chris had never been to Jackson Wyoming before, they had never seen the Grand Tetons, but they knew they wanted to get married there. I just loved the looks on their faces, truly appreciating every moment of beauty in every turn. Their officiate, Tom Jordan, lead us into Teton Park with a little snow trekking for some amazing views and an unforgettable ceremony. A few skiers passing by were grabbed for witnesses, the sun was shining as the Tetons stood gloriously in the background peaking out from a thin blanket of fog, and there, Leah and Chris were married. I commend Leah for her brave moments showing bare skin in 15 degree weather and even more so for the snow angels they both made for me to photograph not once, but twice to get that perfect shot!  What fun! I am so excited to share these images. The beautiful flowers were done by JH Flower Boutique in Jackson.

2 Birds Studio has added a Photo Booth to the list of services we offer. Santa Fe Photo Booth is a modern chic open air booth that provides a customized luxurious style photo booth to compliment the decor of your wedding or event. Please visit our new website at http://santafephotobooth.com to find out more.

Our first event was in December for Thornburg Investment Management and the Booth was a big hit with everyone. Here are a few of my favorites from the evening.

Along with their immediate family, Leslie and Andrew were married on the front porch of The Inn of the Turquoise Bear in Santa Fe. With such sweet family connections, I could not help but to include so many of the ceremony and family interaction photos in this post. And what a fun couple to photograph! We did the full Santa Fe tour and I even found some new spots to be inspired about. I have to say I got a thing for the Texan Santa Fe wedding couples 😉 Mix Texan style in a Santa Fe backdrop and click click click, I just cannot stop!

Tiffany and Noah met with me at the Botanical Gardens in Albuquerque for our first meeting and an engagement shoot. We had such a good time together, I knew their wedding would be amazing. Hacienda Vargas sits along the train tacks in Algodones half way between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, and I would say is a unique bed and breakfast venue for a wedding. The trains roar like spaceships flying by so fast the ground shakes beneath you. Every time one past by,  there was a roar of yelling and cheering from the guest. I love railroad tracks, old adobes, grassy lawns, and mountain views! This place had it all, plus a fun couple to make it come alive. Thank you Tiffany and Noah for making me a part of your amazing day!

I met Suzanne and John a few days before their wedding at there home above Santa Fe. Right at sunset we stepped outside to grab a few shots and Wow! I thought to myself, this couple is going to be amazing to photograph. Well I was right and even though Suzanne said I made them look fabulous, the truth is that they looked fabulous and I was just there documenting it! Their wedding was held at the gorgeous Inn at Loretto where myself and my awesome photographer, Suzanna Finley, captured these incredible images. Congratulations Suzanne and John!
